About Me
Today, as VP of Growth Marketing, Shauna Biersay-Dunbar (she/her/hers) currently leads growth for Lending as a Service (LaaS) for fintech unicorn, Happy Money. I, along with a team of diverse marketers, scale performance marketing across multi-channel ToFu (direct mail, email, affiliate, digital) initiatives in support of customer acquisition and retention aimed to help borrowers become savers, using money as a tool for happiness.
The approach is simple: direct consumer engagement through marketing that resonates with the passions of my customers.
As a foundational fixer, I seek to balance a data-informed view with years of experience—taking ‘ok’ to ‘good’ and ‘good’ to ‘great’.
Prior to Happy Money, I’ve worked at Green Dot, Visa, and Western Union across a series of high visibility leadership roles in Marketing, CX & Strategy, and as Chief of Staff.
Most recently, I’ve obtained an Executive Education Certificate in Global Business & Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online. I also hold a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) & Master Certificate of Specialization in Marketing from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Florida International University.
Currently residing in the San Francisco-Bay Area, I’m an avid traveler, book reader and a hobby DJ.
